Outdoors Tours & Charters
| Fishing |
|
|
We
offer four-hour (cruise ship special), six-hour, and all day
trips targeting salmon (king, silver, pink, sockeye, and chum),
halibut, lingcod, and various species of rockfish including
red snapper (yellow eye), quillback, silver grey, tiger, copper,
and china. All tackle, bait, and gear will be included, as well
as snacks and drinks. The boat is equipped with all the latest
fish-finding electronics, electric downriggers, radar, and fish
boxes. Rain gear is also supplied.
|
| Crabbing |
|
|
You
may want to enhance your fishing tour by dropping pots for Dungeness
crab. Crab pots will be supplied and set on the way to your
fishing hole and pulled at the end of the day. They sure make
a nice addition to the evening salmon and halibut entrée.

Hour Sightseeing |
|
|
Let
Captain Tab introduce you to the local waters and points of
interest of Ketchikan. See authentic 200 year old totem poles;
a real native Alaskan village; an original Libby cannery from
the early nineteen hundreds; the Guard Island Light House; Dolly’s
house and the former red light district; as well as hidden coves
where bootleggers and smugglers once frolicked. You’ll also
see various cruise ships, fishing vessels, and floatplanes.
And of course there is always a good chance to spot killer whales,
humpbacks, porpoises, eagles, otters, seals, sea lions, deer,
and bear . . . so don’t forget your camera!

| Misty
Fjords (all day) |
|
The
beauty of Misty is awe-inspiring. Amazed by its dramatic granite
cliffs, flowing waterfalls and emerald green water, President
Jimmy Carter declared it a national monument in 1978. This tour
also yields the potential for viewing spectacular wildlife including
brown bears, black bears, mountain goats, moose and wolves among
many other natural inhabitants of this stunning venue. Plan
to spend the entire day on this remarkable expedition. Snacks,
drinks, and lunch will be served and binoculars provided.
